Notes to Travelers:

You can try one of the restaurants with different styles in Cavusin.

You can find beverages suitable to your taste such as tea, coffee, and fruit juice in the modest cafe you will see in Love valley.

If you start cycling at sunrise, you can ride with hot air balloons above you.

You can visit the Column Church and St. Theodoros Trion Church on the route, free of charge.

Even though you will often pass by grocery stores and markets where you can find water, keep your bicycle bottle and a spare bottle full.

You may need a bike lock when you take a break for lunch.

Characteristics of the Route:

The route starts in Goreme and lets you warm your muscle up on smooth paths of Kiliclar Valley before going uphill on the ridge where you can take stunning photos. Then, it reaches Meskendir Valley with a technical descent and passes through tunnels, canyons, and orchards. After visiting the small cafe where you can drink fresh orange juice and follow the steep paths of Gulludere, the Column Church offers the perfect opportunity to take a break and feel the history.

After refreshing during the break, the route follows wavy paths for a short time with a blend of green, red, and yellow. In Kizilcukur, which is full of vineyards, the church adorned with grape paintings and the hermitage of St. Niketas tell incredible stories. The Panorama Route, which can be seen even from the church, goes through the slopes of Bozdag towards Cavusin village, an old settlement. Shortly after leaving the village, the route visits Love Valley with tall and magnificent fairy chimneys and reaches Uchisar through ascending ramps that require technical skills from time to time. The route starts to descend at this point towards Guvercinlik Valley and enters forested Zemi Valley, which awaits with jumps, tunnels, and limbo-style crossings.

Recommended for:

Experienced cyclists, especially those with technical ascending/descending experience. The route provides different experiences all day thanks to the advantages of the regional geography.
