The character of the Route:

This extended route, which starts in Kırşehir, the city of bards that hosted Silk Road travelers and merchants for hundreds of years, provides the opportunity to see exquisite examples of Seljuk architecture. Leaving the city behind after 9 km, the track climbs calmly in the quiet peace of the steppe and starts descending after Kaleköy at the 39th km. This route, full of surprises that take you to another land, ends at the end of the descent (48 km) - in a state-of-the-art museum - 2.5 km after going back thousands of years, in the famous Japanese garden looked after by the Japanese.

Notes to Travelers:

• You can visit Ahi Evran Mosque and Tomb, Imaret Mosque-Sheikh Suleiman's Tomb, Melikgazi Tomb, Cacabey Tomb, Muhterem Hatun Tomb, Aşık Pasha Tomb and Fatma Hatun Tomb.
• You can find cute souvenirs and kitchenware made of onyx in Kırşehir, which has been processing onyx stone since 1944.
• In the place opened with the renovation of the Old Governor's Mansion, you can visit sections from the lives and works of masters of words from Dede Korkut to Pir Sultan Abdal, from Karacaoğlan to Neşet Ertaş, as well as musical instruments used from past to present.
• You can visit the museum about the world-famous musician, Neşet Ertaş, in Kırşehir, Turkey's first and only UNESCO-registered music city. You can take pleasant photographs at Kesikköprü Caravanserai, which was built by Nurettin Caca, Emir of Kırşehir, during the reign of Sultan Gıyasettin Keyhüsrev II in 1251.
• Female visitors must carry a scarf with them to use when visiting the tomb.
• You can visit the museum built for the world-famous musician, Neşet Ertaş.
• You can taste delicious Kırşehir dishes such as beetroot whipped cream, lepe, borani, Çirleme and Çir dessert.
• You can benefit from the healing waters of the thermal springs located in Kırşehir city center.
• You can visit the Kaman Kalehöyük Archeology Museum, built with the cooperation of the Japanese and Turkish governments and where the city's 5 thousand years of history is exhibited. There is an entrance fee.
• You can take pleasant photos in the Japanese Garden, which the Japanese maintain.
