The character of the route:

The route, which provides an active ride with its low ups and downs, follows the mystical centers of the region. The route leaves the underground city from the cave church built in the name of St. Mercurius*. It stops by the formerly church shrine of the saint, who is considered "Saint Mamas" by Christians and "Pir Şemmas Baba" by Muslims, in Gökçe (Mamasin) village. The route, which continues to explore, follows the paths around the Mamasin Dam, stopping at Güvercinkaya, an ancient settlement dating back to 5200-4750 BC, and ends at the ruins of Aşıklıhöyük, one of the places where humanity first settled down.

* It is believed that in the 4th century, upon the call of St. Basil of Kayseri, he suddenly appeared on the battlefield and killed the pagan Emperor, who persecuted the Christians.
