The character of the Route:

The Route, which starts from the tomb of dervish Tapduk Emre, said to have received a hand from the famous ulema and saint Hacı Bektashi Veli, glides silently down through the fields. At the 17th km, it faces the Agzikarahan Caravanserai with its fairy-tale appearance. Leaving the 8-century-old giant caravanserai behind and continuing its descent, the Route ends in Saratlı Underground City, which has a mystical atmosphere.

Notes to Travelers:

• You can visit the humble mausoleum of Tapduk Emre, a Turkmen and Alevi-Bektashi dervish from Khorasan saints.
• You can take a break in Agzikarahan Caravanserai and take impressive photos.
• You can visit St. Mercurius Underground City and Church and Saraltı Underground City, an indispensable travel stop.
• Make sure you take enough water with you, as you cannot replenish water along the way.
