Characteristics of the Route:

The route starts at Zelve Open Air Museum, an old village carved into fairy chimneys hosting different cultures at the same time, and passes by the three-headed fairy chimneys with a stunning view in Pasabagi. After passing through the sculptures shaped by water and wind and taking you to another world, the route leaves the popular tourist area and goes towards the silk road. The route passes by Saruhan Caravanserai, which will take you on a journey through time thanks to its successful restoration, and takes a different form when it meets Kizilirmak a little further. The route follows peaceful paths parallel to the river and ends in Sarihidir village famous for its greenhouses hidden in the riot of colours.

Goreme – Cavusin – Pasabag – Zelve; Sarihidir - Avanos - Goreme.

Recommended for:

Cyclists who want to experience the cultural wealth of Nevsehir and have recently started cycling on the paths.

Notes to Travelers:

You can visit Devrent Valley free of charge.

There is an entry fee to Zelve Open Air Museum and Pasabaglari Archeological Site; both can be visited with a single ticket. The museum card is valid at archaeological sites.

You can find beverages suitable to your taste such as tea, coffee, and fruit juice in cafes you will see throughout the route and in the coffeehouse in Sarihidir.

The route passes by grocery stores and markets where you can find water frequently.

You may need a bicycle lock while visiting the archaeological sites.

There is an entry fee to Saruhan Caravansarai and the museum card is not valid.
