Difficulty Level
The Character of the Route:

The route into the Aladağlar, which is part of the great Alpine-Himalayan fold, starts at 1710m. Taking its name from a boron mine operated here until recently, the track progressing along the strait reaches Karagöl at an altitude of 2885m, ascending gently on paths that offer incredible moments for nature lovers.

Notes to Travelers:

• You can reach Maden Boğazı and Karagöl by tractor from Demirkazık Village.
• You can see the remains of the French mines on the left slope during the climb.
• On the hiking route, especially around Karagöl, great big walls are suitable for rock climbing. However, to do wall climbing, you must have the right equipment and have been trained in it.
• To be able to climb mountains, you must be in good health and condition.
• Especially if you live at sea level, you must acclimate your body (accommodating the body to that altitude for climbing after a certain height). For this, you can camp at the point where the route starts for one night before starting the climb, stay in the hostels in Çukurbağ or Demirkazık Village, and camp.
• Do not forget to take enough water and light food to give energy while climbing.
• Make sure your phone is fully charged before you start climbing.
• Do not forget to drink water occasionally during the climb.
