The Character of the Route:

This route, which carries the traces of the cultural adventure experienced in Anatolia, starts from Yaprakhisar, which draws attention with its cave structures, and reaches the village of Uzunkaya, formerly known as Eskinuz, on a path that slopes slightly upwards. Leaving behind the mysterious village, the route, which proceeds on straight paths, proceeds towards Çanlı Church, another mysterious corner of Cappadocia. The Çanlı Church, which draws attention with its mummies, is also an important religious center. This route, which ends at the Çanlı Church located in an area overlooking the surrounding area, allows you to have one of the best photos of Hasandağı.

Notes to Travelers:

• You can take different photos -with short fairy chimneys- in the Gülüklükaya locality to the south of Uzunkaya Village.
• You can catch the most beautiful photo of Hasandağı from Çanlı Church.
• The mummies in the Çanlı Church are exhibited in the Aksaray Museum.
• Make sure you take enough water with you, as you cannot replenish water along the way.
